• Valid UAE residence visa (with at least 30 days validity)
• 3 copies of your recent photo. Ensure that the photo has a white background and the dimensions are 3.5 x 4.5 cm
• An original passport that should have a validity of minimum of 6 months
• Original NOC letter addressed to the Nigerian consulate. The letter should mention your designation, date of joining, salary received, and travel purpose.
• For self-employed travelers, a copy of a valid Trade License is needed. You should also submit a self-declaration stating your income per month and the details of the passport for investors and partners.
• Original bank statement of the last 3 months or online bank statement for the same period with bank stamp on it
• A letter of invitation from your friend or relative in Nigeria. While this is not mandatory, it can surely make your application stronger in terms of chances of approval.
• For a business visa for Nigeria, an invitation letter has to be submitted.
• Copy of your medical insurance documents

Points to Keep in Mind

• The embassy will retain your passport for stamping the visa on it
• While submitting the original documents required for the visa (as mentioned above), the visa applicant needs to be physically present at the embassy.
• You would need to present your return air ticket and a copy of the hotel booking voucher at the airport during taking your flight to Nigeria.
